Two PA State Police Troopers Killed in the Line of Duty

The Wissahickon Fire Company extends its condolences to the families of two Pennsylvania State Police troopers who were killed in the line of duty this morning on I-95. The troopers were responding to a report of a pedestrian on the highway when they, along with the pedestrian, were struck by a passing vehicle.

Pennsylvania’s “Move Over” law requires that, when passing an emergency vehicle, all drivers safely merge into a lane farther away from the emergency response area. If you are unable to safely change lanes, you must slow down to at least 20 mph below the posted speed.
