Fire in Whitpain Township

At approximately 8:30pm on March 14th, the Wissahickon Fire Company was dispatched to a residential building fire on the 300 block of Maple Street in the Ambler section of Whitpain Township. Originally dispatched as a basement fire, crews confirmed the fire was limited to the first floor before making entry and extinguishing the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
