On Saturday night at 11:45 Station 7 was dispatched to a dwelling fire in the 800 block Wood Pond RD. Police on location confirmed a working basement fire. Chief 7 asked for an additional engine and the RIT team. Then ordered engine 7-4 and ladder 7 to lead off with inch and three quarters into the basement. Engine 7-3 laid 200ft of 5 inch to the hydrant. Engine 7-4 fed ladder 7 with a 3 inch. Engine 15-1 with man power and Squad 6 for the RIT team. Two additional ladders were requested for man power assist due to the hot and humid condition that night. Tower 88 and Ladder 18 responded to the scene with man power. Other units at the scene were Rescue 345 for rehab and medic 345 medic 351, and medic 382 for ambulance. Engine 12 was on stand-bye at station 7A.
